Fees
Entry fees
Every league has an entry fee, paid in USDC. League.fun runs several fee tiers so you can pick the stakes that fit you, with more tiers planned over time. The league you're joining always shows its own entry fee before you pay it.
The protocol fee
League.fun keeps a fixed 5% fee from each league's entry fees. The other 95% goes back to players — see Prizes and claiming for how it's split among winners.
Referrals
Every player has a referral link. When someone you refer joins a league, you earn a share of League.fun's 5% protocol fee on that league. The share grows the more players you've referred, from 30% up to 50%.
A referral link only pays out once its owner has PRO (see below) or is an appointed partner. This is also how League.fun paces sign-ups during an invite-only phase, when one is active.
PRO
You unlock PRO by playing a streak of 16 consecutive public-league waves, or by buying it directly on-chain. PRO unlocks:
- A substitutes bench in public leagues (see Drafting your team).
- Your referral link (see above).
PRO follows the same rule as every other streak badge below: if your streak breaks, you lose it, whether you earned it or bought it.
Streaks and badges
Playing consecutive public-league waves builds a streak. Only the number of waves counts — the entry-fee tier and the league type don't change it. Streaks unlock badges, and each badge multiplies the experience points (XP) you earn:
| Badge | Streak | XP multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| Rookie | 2 waves | ×1.2 |
| Expert | 4 waves | ×1.4 |
| Master | 8 waves | ×1.6 |
| PRO | 16 waves | ×2.0 |
You have to claim a badge once you qualify for it; it then applies to leagues that end after you claim it. A broken streak revokes a badge at any tier, including a bought PRO.
Only public leagues earn XP. Private leagues track real standings, but no XP.
